In the year 2002, I started up a brand new series for Poker Digest magazine called Pocket Aces. In
addition to my regular strategy column, I decided to do a series of interviews with some famous and / or
influential people in poker. I either took these interviews face to face or corresponded with the persons
featured through e-mail.
Unfortunately for me, after my first Pocket Aces pieces had been published, the magazine I wrote
for simply ceased to be. Therefore, the only pieces that have made it to print were the contributions by
Mike Sexton, Marcel Lüske and Alan Schoonmaker. Interviews with Thomas Kremser, Martin Pollak and Lothar
Landauer have appeared on www.isa-casinos.de (in German only), and the piece with Adèle Bruijn can still be found on www.pokerineurope.com. Her piece, as well as the one with Marcel Lüske, have also been printed for
Nic Szeremeta's Poker Europa magazine. Thus, quite a few interviews can be viewed on this site for
the very first time, and I hope you will enjoy them. Please keep in mind that some of the interviews may be a
bit dated, and that both the respondents' personal information, as well as their views on recent developments, don't necessarily represent their current situation.
