Those of you who read my regular Ace Speaks poker column in Card Player magazine, know that I'm a
big fan of poetry. In fact, I have dedicated two articles to the subject, called
"About Success - A bit of poetry part I" and "Choices and Considerations - A bit of poetry part II". What most of you probably don't know, is that I have written quite a bit of poetry myself - Dutch poetry, to be precise. Now, of course these works got nothing to do with poker, but they may give you a little insight in my views, thoughts and feelings in real life - away from the table. In this section of the site, you can find a selection of poems I have written over the years. I am currently in the process of getting these works published. Now, of course this is far from easy, as in general poetry books tend to sell very few copies, and Dutch poetry books tend to sell even less. As you can understand, the selection of works on this section is available in Dutch only, and looks as follows:
